Transferring knowledge and Promoting excellence

Aims and objectives

  1.  To advance health education, training and research in Sudan and among its members in the UK and Ireland.
  2. To create professional and social links between the members of the Association.
  3. To provide advice and support to the colleagues responsible for health service and medical and health education in Sudan.
  4. Transfer of modern technology, expertise and scientific updates to Sudan
  5. Creating opportunities for overseas training in the UK and Ireland for Sudanese doctors and medical students
  6. To provide technical advice in the field of quality control standards for the supervisory boards of Medical Education in Sudan
  7. To cooperate with similar organizations inside and outside Sudan including Unions of doctors, dentists, pharmacists and health professionals as well as Sudan Doctors Union in the United Kingdom and Ireland without interfering with the status of the Association.
  8. To work in medical charity & relief missions.

  • SMA membership

The membership of the Sudanese medical association is open to all health care professions including clinicians, dentists, nurses, pharmacists and other allied health care scientists, including Radiographers, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists and Biomedical scientists.

 

-Membership fee for junior doctors is 60 sterling pound.
-Membership fee for consultants is 120 sterling pound.
